Mackerell fillets with bread sauce

Bread sauce is the perfect accompainment for roast poultry and fish, it is quick and easy to make and freezes well, so it can be made in advance.
Today we will prepare it as a fish accompainment, hope you will enjoy it. 








Ingredients for mackerell 4 servings:

- 8 small fish fillets, 6 if they are biggeread sause
- extra virgin olive oil


Ingredients for bread sauce:

- 300ml of buttermilk
- 150ml heavy double cream 
- 1 peeled white onion studded in 6 colves
- 1 bay leaf
- 75g bread crumbs
- 25g butter
- salt and pepper


Method:
ry- place milk, cream,  onion and bay leaf in a large sauce pan and bring it to the boil , turn the hat off and leave to stand for 10 mins;
-. remove the onion and add the bread crumbs stirr untill smooth then add butter and season with salt and pepper;
- meanwhile cook the fish fillets in a large frying pan with extra virgin olive oil, serve in a dish with bread sauce and the vegetables you prefer.
